Pokédex Growth + New Gen 6 Pokémon

Hi everyone!

We have now reached a total of 200 different pokémon in our pokédex, thanks to all of our wonderful contributors!
So let's make more new pokémon and fill those pokédex entries! ;)

A new folder have been added for more conceptual works, of course the images that make it in that folder need to be up to certain standards, but it will allows some kind of work to be showcased here!

Plus, the magazine Coro-Coro has revealed a few new Pokémon with their types, and some abilities, you can view them here: [link]

Submission Guide

I have had a few instances of members wondering what should be submitted in the group or not. In this regard, I will point out a few aspects that you should watch out for when submitting.

First of all, I have to insist that the acceptation or refusal of submissions is very subjective.

-Anatomy: The body of the Pokémon you drew should have believable proportions and and seem to be functional. Sometimes, I see great pictures that have all the body right, but have cartoony eyes. This also will not be accepted.

-Photomanipulations will not be accepted.

-Render: The image should not look unfinished or too rough. Some people have a rougher style, that can be accepted because of the artistic value. This means that the overall image still works, even with the flaws.

-Volume: The Pokémon should not look flat (even in the lineart section, you will find that the pictures all have a specific quality about them...) So, I expect to have obvious light and shadow zones. Areas that are colored differently depending on the light source, etc.

-Colors: It should not look monochromatic., but I have accepted black and white pictures before because of the (far) above average quality.

-A background is not mandatory, but it helps to have one. It always look better when your Pokémon is in context...

-Some pictures are great, but do not fit the group. Those would go in the group's Favorites gallery.

If you do not agree on a picture being in the group because it is not up to the standard you expect to see, or think it is unfair that your submission has been rejected, feel free to tell me. I will gladly consider your point and make whatever adjustment is necessary!

I like the idea but I wish people would stop doinig some of them. Even thoe I cam up with one for Jigglypuff whis is one of the ones I wish people would stop makining.

Jigglypuff hasn't been overdone though... Some get waaay too much attention, but it's still nice to see new interpretations of them...

What I would love to see is an interpretation of Gardevoir/Alakazam

They could be depicted as Mutated Humans, and look freakishly person-like.
